The county began this new shelter project as a secret group of people from the county along with six people named as community members. It turns out four of those people, who live in the community, are associated with the current shelter. The county called their group "The Penn Daw Fire Station and Supportive Housing" Advisory Committee (with no mention of a shelter). In Supervisor Storck's introduction letter he also does not explicitly mention a shelter. For more than four months the county did not publish any information on the project. The county has not made any of it's meetings to date open to the public (although not blocking uninvited people). Supervisor Storck also did not address the new shelter in his annual Open House. This site is dedicated to publishing the information regarding the project.
